The cry came from a dwarf not so stout but tall, Now come to think of it, He may be the tallest dwarf of all,
He said, “I feel cramped stuck in the land of Bree, I heard of this Rivendale place, A wonderful place to see
So he called out to companions both foe and mostly friend, “For a perilous journey, it may be You just might meet your end”
But Pillagers all heard a came in answer to his plea, They packed a lunch and a second and third And headed out from Bree
Much can be said of their journey through lands lone, But since I didn’t meet them til the ford A report I have none
As they made their way up from Bruinen through the pass, A big old bear bit poor Berrgar, But he got help from his companion lass,
For the great Captain Verewen helped the dwarf from defeat, He got right back up from this and muttered, “Whose got something to eat?”
So the company got over the pass and traveled through the Moor, And a smile so wide and toothy grin, Passed on Berrgar as he knocked on Elrond’s door.
And so the great journey, has up and come to end, For the Pillagers made it to Imlandris fair, And were welcomed as the highest form of friend.

It was indeed a beautiful trip. The way my spirits were lifted by the comradery and teamwork displayed by Sir Gra.....errr.... GRANGE and friends. I did not fear for my well being except when we were beset on all sides by all sorts of fell bears .....oooooo...bears... They're all evil I tell you.
Once when I tried to get to Rivendell on my lonesome, a bear chased me away... doing a good deal of damage to my armor and my pride... perhaps the same beastie that chewed on poor Berrgar's arm... or was it his leg? You know those details are always escaping me. I'm pretty sure it was his head... or perhaps his backside... Ah... it matters not. What does matter is that it's a memory that I'll take with me and will with a certain, boost my morale through the tough times ahead.
Oh... and let's not forget the brave Sir Zhongo and Madam Delaney. How she fought the fell creatures that were trying to prevent us from our destination! She was like a whirlwind of Dwarven Warriors. She was a blur as she rushed and confounded our foes! Her eyes shone with a battle fervor the likes of which champions aspire to. Ho Ho! A Toast to Madam Delaney!
