Kin! Call to arms! Orcs attacking Weathertop! Must repel them!
Friday night, I'm looking to get several groups of pillagers together to go raiding (not an actual raid per se... just a couple of fellowships... or even one, if that's all we can get, but I highly doubt that) around the wondrous hill called Weathertop. Come see the sights! The sounds! The smells! EW! How long has that boar been using that as their potty?!
We'll even take time out to point out a few tidbits around the area related to the books.
The quest chain that we're going to be concentrating on is as follows:
Rise of the Orcs An Orc Messenger War-master Uzorr Lost in Interpretation Retake Weathertop
You can get the first quest at level 13 and I think the last quest at level 14 or 15. But the quest level at the end is an instanced level 20 quest. I imagine any character between 15 and 25-ish would be more than welcome and we'll find a spot for you! No-one will be left behind!
Best place to meet up will be at the Forsaken Inn... note: highly suggested you bring your own ale. The stuff at the Inn is highly suspect.
If you think you can make it, but not at the start time, just drop a note and we'll work you in!
Let's take the hill back kin! Bree-land is counting on us!

Broma, level 21 guardian and on step 4 or 5 of the chain. Or Lindri, level 18 loremistress and has not started the chain. I would be delighted to bring either.

Either one is welcome Broma!
Note to all... unkinned alts are more than welcome to come! Important to put that out there as I know a lot of us don't necessarily kin all of our alts!

This is a great idea, heck, maybe once every few weeks we might want to plan an excursion into more interesting terrain.I wouldn't even mind about lvling or what not, but role-playing through some of the area would be quite a time. From the old forest to evendim, there's alot of ground to cover
Unfortunatly, I won't be able to join on friday, but hopefully I'll be available in the near future.
Cheers.

Hmmmm... I think Aethelbras (lvl 21 hunter) is near the end of this chain. He'll be glad to come out and put arrows into bad guys.
Plus, there's an Exploration Deed to be achieved around Weathertop, isn't there?

I've had to shift my dinner plans tonight. We're having two trees removed and the crew is still here. We are going to dinner at 7:15, so I don't know if I will be back in time to start this trip. I'll meet up with you all as soon as I can with Broma (so you don't have to back track on the quest line).

I'll try and make it tonight as well if I can get my son to bed AND keep the wife happy (due with our 2nd child in less than two weeks!!)
Bedar is a 23 guardian and needs that quest as well.
Also excited about an opportunity to go through the Barrows sometime soon if people want. I've never gone too far in there and it looks pretty hectic!

tee hee... i'm so glad to see so much interest! Here's the bad news... something came up and I'll be late but I do not want you to feel you have to wait for me. If you get on and there's a group or two. Go ahead and get started! Please don't wait for me!

Of course it went well! We're Pillagers! I heard through the grapevine that 2 whole fellowships were successful in repelling those dastardly orcs! Good job Pillagers!

Agreed. It was a great time for me, not only for the fellowship, but the opportunity to get to know each of you as well (quite a few good laughs)! I'm looking forward to more in the future.
Great teamwork and communication all around

Yes, I had a great time as well, and it was great getting to team with you, and with Broma! It was a good opportunity to get to know the two of you. Looking forward to our next low-level gathering!
