I'd once again like to venture across the bridge in Annuminas and try to finish one of the instances over there. I believe that for a weeknight, it would be more appropriate to try Ost Elendil (throne room, for those that have seen it) since it can be completed in roughly an hour. (If we're really efficient, we could try the Battle of Aughaire afterwards, perhaps?) I certainly want to finish Haudh Valandil, too, but that one is much, much longer. So ... Ost Elednil, Wednesday night, 9:00 EDT/8:00 CDT anyone? Let's try for as close to time as possible. Not 8-ish, although not exactly 8 sharp either ... we lose too much time dithering. More or less 8? Heh.

Yes, Vent will be helpful! And Zabrak/Missa, Verewen, and Yngvi are going to come along as well! (I think they'll be posting on their own, but I have heard from them.)

Yep! I'm in. I should be there by 9 depending on the kiddies homework, no more than a few minutes late.

Since I am not even home by then, not even counting dinner, kids baths, playing, etc, I cannot make it. But.......if any of the higher levels are on later in the night, I would be more than happy to make a run of it. Maybe if we even get a few Pillagers, maybe we could enlist any non-kin friends we have. I have already grown tired of hidden caches and the evil men around there. I know Thel is usually on, not sure if the other folks on at that time have 50's or not. I know there are quite a few lower levels.

That's a good idea, Bubub... and the great thing about these Annuminas instances is that they -are- repeatable. So we could even schedule them for one of the Sunday morning runs.

I have a problem. I need to pick up my daughter at 9:30 PM ET. I'll probably only be gone from 9:20 to 9:40, or less. Anything we can do to work around that? Sorry...

Well, we may well need to claim some control points, and even if we don't, we'll still need to fight a little to get to the bridge. I personally wouldn't mind if the rest of the group did whatever was needed to get us outside the instance door while you were picking up your daughter. Verewen could then summon you and we could go. (I <3 captains!) That's my .02, anyway.
We still need a sixth for the group! Anyone?

with any RL luck, Thel will be on and helping to get in position so we can summon the late!
The instances are not that long, so I'd hope we can find enough people and be flexible. Multiple tries or the harder instance could happen as far as I'm concerned!

Congratulations on a job well done, folks! We bravely fought and reclaimed Clorhir, which opened the way to Ost Elendil for us. Once inside, nothing stood in our way! Balhest, self-proclaimed King of Annuminas, has been sent packing, at least for now. Thanks to Delaney for her power of Conjunctions, and her Coffee House connections! It was a pleasure to meet and team up with Gombur, a member of "The Last Alliance" Kinship. He did an amazing job as our tank, and with a great sense of humor to go along with it! Thanks also to Thelonius and Missa for pouring on the DPS, and to Yngvi and his amazing abilities to keep us all standing! Next up: Haudh Valandil! Hopefully.

And our ability to somehow keep Yngvi standing! (except once ;D)
It was a great job by all!

That was quite an outing last night; thanks, all! The fights looked pretty hairy at times, but everyone did an amazing job. Gombur thanked us on the game boards; I thanked him back. Anyone else notice how much those spirits just loved Yngvi?

Anyone else notice how much those spirits just loved Yngvi? So true! The Guards even more so! I was yelling out commands for people to move things into the light. Hope I wasn't too bossy, but as a hunter, one that's standing back and looking for my next shot, I tend to get a better view. I know when I'm playing Zabrak and trying to hold aggro and keep it off of the squishy ones, I sometimes lose sight of the overall battle. So, I hope it was helpful.

Anyone else notice how much those spirits just loved Yngvi? I believe I shall call them "groupies". And yes, it was a help to have you calling out whether mobs were in the right spot or not. I think the edges of light spaces are pretty definite, and things don't seem to get the de-buff unless they're all the way into the area. Which is sometimes hard to see when you're in the up-close-and-personal section (or the scrambling minstrel section ).
