Last night we managed to pull together a group for Garth Agarwen...Angwen...Aneg...the red swampie place! We put the group together in the afternoon and agreed to reconvene an hour and a half later to take care of some real life stuff like dinner.
Thanks to Fetro for guiding us through the place. Thanks Rayf for jumping in and throwing around that heavy shield. And of course Tippik and Kevay for killing everything that got in our way.
By the way, GA, seems to be a nice place to get level 31 pocket items. We had about three different items drop. Just in case anyone is in the market!

Huzzah!
I personally feel that GA has gotten a bad name in the past... I've actually enjoyed myself the last few times I've gone in.
I think for the most part, a big portion of that bad name was the broken stairs that could be exploited. You were actually able to time your jump correctly and skip a big portion of the instance.
Of course, we always tried to do it, and usually spent 30 minutes just trying to get the jump timed right. Frustrating!

Ivar? make it as far and defeat Ivar? Swamp was good loot when Thel adventured there also.
Thel never did that, if I ever make an alt, that will be a priority for me in the lower levels...

I finished these quests a while ago (and none too soon, that place is scarier than Angmar in my opinion!) but never finished off the Red Maid. I've been holding the water for months now, and I'm starting to feel bad for not keeping my word to Goldberry. Anyone interesting in Reclaiming the Lost Maiden sometime in the near future?

Tippik, Kevay and I still have some unfinished business in that place. Ring collections and defeating x number of the water wraiths come to mind. There was also one door that we could not open.
I have a charity event from 6:30 until about 4 Eastern on Saturday. But otherwise, I should have time Saturday evening or Sunday.

If you'll have her, and she's about, Princess will love to go. She's been in that area for a while, killing beasts and stuff for some sort of discipline trait or something.

So how about we plan something for this Saturday evening? Does around 7pm CST work for everyone else? I'd be willing to help everyone catch up on those quests if I could get some help with the Maid somewhere in there. I believe we have to get the key from Ivar to get into her sanctum anyway, but I'm not positive about that. P.S. I recommend using the forum character signature image that Turbine offers through their website, as the one I and many others have placed in the signature area. Since we all don't have everyone else's character specs memorized, it'd help for planning if we knew what level/class everyone was at a glance It auto updates too, so it's more convenient than manually typing your character specs into the sig ;D Just login to lotro.com, go to forum then 'User CP' at the top. Click 'Edit Signature' on the left, then select the each character you want listed. A box will appear with code to embed, so just copy the URL only and strip out the rest and place it between [/img] tags in your signature on here and you're all done.
