Well, I figured, as I'm starting to stockpile some Li weapons of all different kinds, that I'd put together some sort of efficient way to distribute them throughout the Kin to those who truly need it.
I know that as a low 50's, I'm excited to get my first legendary beyond the starter one, but I have yet to get one. I'm sure once I do, I'll have to deal with a bad ID, but that's how it goes.
So here is how this works, please just post in here, the class and the specific you are looking for. That way, as kin folk loot some, they know who is still looking for what, and we can redistribute to those in need before just reforging.
Hopefully this will help us all, over time, get equiped with up to rank legendaries, as well as ones with good ID's on them.
(FYI- I'm currently sitting on items for Rune Master, Captain, Guardian and LM)
Please let me know feedback etc.

I'll start:
Hunter (almost to 52)
Needs: Bow, Melee (is there a class slotted legendary for hunter as well??)
Thanks!

Honestly, there's little need for this. Legendary weapons are plentiful. If you want a bow and a weapon (your choice), meet me in Dolven View and I'll give you whatever you want. But, so you know, the minimum level is 53.

So are you talking about the rusty tools trade in or whatever?

Fine if there is no need for this.
I was just trying to brainstorm, as I've been looting some, and wanted to be able to send the items to people who could use them, but had no idea who to send them to.
I'd have rather done that if there was a need, then to reforge them. Since i can't level them up, just seem to get only 1 relic if you deconstruct it.

Actually, for people who are just reaching level 50 and entering Moria, its not that easy to find items that you can be levelling right away. I know that Ceol bought items so be could be levelling 6 of them asap. But once you are in Moria for a while, its totally different, because you will get the rusted tool drops that can be exchanged for items, and soon enough you will never be short of legendary items.
Alayden, Ceol will send you any hunter items he finds, but those will be in the mid 50s or higher, because the items you get are usually the same level as the monster that drops them.
So your best bet might be just to buy some items on the auction house for level 51 or 52, so that you can get a set of 6 for levelling. By the time you have levelled them to 11, you will probably have found better items you will want to level up, so you can deconstruct the ones you bought. Thats what I did. Once you have some good items, you may want to level them to 21 before deconstructing, because youi wont need to fill as many open slots.
Remember that the LI you get from the quest has to be equipped to gain XP - its different than all the others. If you didnt get a particularly good one from the quest, its probably best to deconstruct it at 11 so you can start equipping whatever item is best.

I don't mean to be discouraging. I think your idea is great, actually. It's just that once you spend some time in Moria you'll have so many legendaries for all classes (especially Loremasters and Rune--whatevers) you won't have any pack space left for anything else. Yes, I am talking about the rusted tools. I have STACKS and STACKS of them. So many that I burned through 2 stacks just to get the 1 relic out of it. Unfortunately, that's what you're going to do with most of the legendary drops you get, break 'em down for the relic. Others that are junky, but fit your class, you'll slot and then level to 11. At 11 you'll get more relics and those experience blue jewel thingies. If you can wait till 21 or higher, you'll get even better relics and xp bubbles (they look like bubbles to me!). If you ID a legendary, and it seems to have good specs on it, offer it to the class that will use it. That's what I do. I've given away many, but I've destroyed so many more.
Be well friend.

Alayden - I'll help you find some stuff tonight. I know a place I can go help you slaughter some... er... Innocent? Southies for starter items. No guarantee we'll find stuff right away, but I'm more than happy to help you with your search. It is a pain to find the 51 and 52 items, but once you hit 53 and start getting into Moria, you'll be sick at all the stuff you'll be picking up. I'm to the point where I keep one bag free just for LIs... and empty it out regularly by sending items off or trying to auction them unidentified... Of course, I'm finding 59/60 stuff, which doesn't help you just yet... I do think it'd be a good idea to have a quick reference page for us all... Sorted by rank, then by class as to who's looking for what level/type of weapons... For example: Low | Hunter | Alayden | Bow, Weapon | Mid | Minstrel | Jecii | Book, Weapon | Mid | Minstrel | Yngvi | Book, Weapon | High | Captain | Verewen | 2H Weapon, Emblem | High | Loremaster | Cajcan | Staff, Book | Max | Captain | Katarnus | 2H Weapon, Emblem | Max | Hunter | Pierian | Bow, Weapon | Max | Guardian | Sharliana | 2H (Axe, Hammer, Sword) |
Low = 50-53, Mid = 54-56, High = 57+, Max = 59/60 2nd AgeNote - This is just an example - not what people are really looking for, necessarily.

It would also be nice to know the preferred type of weapon. An example would be a champion that prefers to wield axes & swords rather than daggers & clubs. As most of us know the type of weapon really works into your play style.
In regards to there being little need I don't really believe that's true. In quite a few cases it's real difficult to find a useful legendary item.
Also in the method of leveling items for runes I've taken Onyxblade's suggestion and run quite a few tests. Getting an item to level 2-4 yields nearly as many runes, settings, and gems as leveling them to 11. You just don't receive the experience upgrade in the end. That is an extremely easy way to consume those rusted tools and tablets quickly and process quite a few settings!
