So there we were, deep in the ruins of Fornost. Our task, to lure out a mighty warg named Krithmog, and to smite ruin upon her. Onward we fought, through seas of Fell-spirits and Orcs, never ceasing, never faltering. The six of us (Zhongo, Melodar, Onyxblade, Baralon, Yngvi and myself) pressed on, until we came to the inner sanctum of Krithmog's lair, and an offering bowl. We placed Krithmog's collar in the bowl and stood back, restless with anticipation, but nothing happened. One of us suggested laying out a tasty morsel as an enticement for the great beast to come to us, but after turning out our pockets, we realized that we had none, having consumed our rations during the fighting to get inside the ruins. But Melodar, full of Hobbit Hope and fearlessness, bravely offered himself up as bait for the foul Krithmog, secure in the knowledge that his Kinmates would let nothing happen to him. A great song shall be written for you, Brave brave Sir Melodar!
