Born in the depths of Erebor, Bedar was the eldest of four. His family was part of a caravan that led out into the other lands, via the Celduiin River, where they sold their armors to the other races. He would always watch after his siblings in Erebor during their departure, but as he grew older, his curiosity to see the outside world overtook him and he soon persuaded his father to take him along as well.
Outside, he was fascinated at the beauty of the world, seeing things in a different light. Always being cramped in the Mountains, he'd never been exposed to the vibrant colors of the world. Later in life, he soon picked up metalsmithing from his father and he began to craft his own style of armor. He soon opened his own shop in the caravan and soon made a living selling his trade.
After awhile, he started to venture out more often, visiting other races, such as the Elves in Rivendell and the men of Bree. He sought more foreign lands like the Shire and the Delving. His family mocked him for seeking out a new life, but Bedar paid them no mind. He considers himself an independent soul and cannot be trapped in the mines of Eremor, no matter how much tradition and culture demands.
Nowadays, Bedar has joined his fellow comrades in fighting back the forces of Sauron. He recognizes that the fellowship has to come from all races acting together, and not the single efforts of one.
((OOC: This is Roneth's other character, a Guardian Metalsmith named Bedar. I actually prefer to play him the most, even at his 22nd season. An invite for him would be great if allowable))
