Seen this and just thought I would put it up.
Are we gonna be involved?
Landroval Kinship Recruitment Faire III
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's BACK!
When: June 1st @ 4:00pm EST and will run until people get sick of being there.
Where: Breeland Faire Grounds. These seem to work the best for keeping lag down and still being accessable by most levels.
Why: Landroval has a very diverse range of kinships to offer to players. You can find everything from heavy roleplayers to well-organized raiding kinships. We have some that support certain (RL) life-styles as well as some that are strictly (ingame) race-based (such as Baruk Khazad).
But it's not always easy to tell from a website if that kinship is right for you. And some kins who are still growing do not have websites to attract new players. For that reason, Kinship Leaders/Officers and yet-unguilded players alike are encouraged to attend.
If your kinship is actively recruiting, this Faire will give you the opportunity to meet with prospective recruits face-to-face and tell them about your kinship. They can experience first-hand who their leaders will be and what their kinsmen will be like.
If you have yet to find or decide on a kinship, this is the place to meet all those names in person. Make a list of kins you would like to talk to and visit them at the Faire. Or just come and speak with those who look interesting (dwarves in dresses are not uncommon...)
Tips for attending kinships:
-Decide ahead of time whether your kinship will recruit on the spot, or if you will be referring them to apply. This just saves time and confusion for the recruits.
-When interviewing a prospective applicant, invite them into a fellowship and answer questions there. This just serves to weed out the many emotes and /says that accompanies a large gathering of people.
-First come, first serve - Generally, we used the tents as a way to separate kinships. You may stake a claim in a tent, or just find a spot that makes you happy (even the middle of the pool counts ). Just remember to give eachother enough space so that applicants can tell you apart from one another, but not so far away that people don't see you out there on the grassy knoll!
-Be social! Walk around, meet some other kinships. RP, drink ale, enjoy pipeweed or play music. The more fun it is, the more people will want to come see what's up!
If you would like to attend: Just show up! No pre-registration required! However, I will also list any attending kinships that would like to announce their presence in the advertisement. All I need from you is:
1. Kinship Name
2. 1-2 paragraph description of your kin and anything you think applicants should know ahead of time.
3. Website address (if applicable)

Thanks everyone and I hope to see you there!!!

Who will be there....
Blades of Anárion
We are a mature and casual kinship with a very simple and precise goal: we strive to provide a kinship for friendly, mature and like-minded individuals who enjoy the high-fantasy genre of J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth as depicted in The Lord of the Rings and other works. We employ light-to-medium roleplay (RP) to keep ourselves within the context of Tolkien's lore while also sharing experiences, stories and friendships outside of the realm. Music, life, folk-lore, battle, camaraderie, and brotherhood are aspects we all enjoy. If you enjoy these as well, consider joining the ranks of the Blades of Anárion. You must be at least 18 years of age and your applying character must be at least level 25. Ventrilo is not required, but highly recommended.

Brethil Company
We are a small RP Kinship. All classes and races are welcome, no time requirements. Mature, drama-free adults only. Primary focus is RP, followed by questing/leveling. This is not a Raid or PvMP kin.
