Argh! I don't know what to do first on Tuesday! Fish for the new trophies? Kill tons of humanoids for the new recipes? New content? Work on my Tavern Inn League Reputation? Run tons of Carn Dum/Urugarth/BG quests? Though... here's one bit of bad news... Quote from the Lotro forums from Patience: "Thanks to the continuing bug reports and forums threads about this, we tracked this down and are getting it fixed once and for all. There is indeed a problem with tools recipes for all tiers across the board. Unfortunately this wasn't fixed and tested in time for Tuesday's Book 14 launch, but it'll be included in a patch following it, so look for it in patch notes! (P.S. Ironically, the Ancient Steel tool recipes are the only ones that ARE dropping with any regularity. )"

I'm thinking... farming. Farming for the new random farming drop items for the new paints and dyes... Of course, we'll need to kill things to get those recipes too.
Wonder how quickly we could gather up a full set of the new dye recipes? *wanders off to ponder*

I'm with you I think. I'm guessing that the recipes will be different tiers so we'll have to visit a few different areas to get them. Let me see if I can dig up some information on what tier they are so we'll know the "prime" farming location.

Farming wise, it goes like this...
1. Lily of the Valley -> LotV Leaf (Pea-Green Paint) 2. Iris -> Iris Root (Grey dye) 3. Bluebottle -> Bluebottle petal (Turquoise Dye, Sky-Blue Paint) 4. Amaranth -> Amaranth Petal (Burgundy Dye) 4. Saffron -> Saffron Thread (Pale-Yellow Paint) 5. Bloodwort -> Bloodwort Root (Orange Dye, Pumpkin-Orange Paint) 5. Elderberries -> Juicy Elderberry (Lavender Paint)
ALSO, Strawberries will now produce Juicy Strawberries. Reportedly used for both RED DYE (this is a change) and Pink Paint (new).
Last, but not least, I've found this, from a list of crit items by crafting type...
1: Gold, Sienna | Pea-Green 2: Grey, Olive, Umber 3: Navy, Turquoise, Violet | Sky-Blue 4: Burgundy, Dark Green, Indigo | Pale Yellow, Pink 5: Orange, Red, Rust, Black | Lavender, Pumpkin-Orange

lol....you beat me...
seems to be different news about what juicy strawberries are going to be for though... some posts say pink paint, some say red dye... I suppose we'll see on tuesday!
And definately.. we'll hit up all of the different goblin areas and clean em out. We'll hopefully even get some of the single-use scholar recipes too!

There. Post modified again. Found the list of scholar coloring stuff. All of it's on there. Bolded the new recipes. There IS something for every tier.

I already knew that Strawberries were going for Red Dye. I think that was buried in the patch notes. Makes sense for pink paint, too. I think we'll just assume that information is correct.

Or hand it off to someone who can make something of it (I'm sure the "old" recipe will be around for a while like they've done before.)

I imagine they'd set it up to be traded in at the craft-hall item trader like when the changed the other craft items. I only had 23 or so of them. I'm not going to worry about it... will just see what happens.

I've got three bags free right now on Sharliana... It'll be just a bit more than that when I can smelt the ore I'm carrying (more than a stack is Platinum). So, I'm all set for our Tuesday Fun. Plus, I caught a summer cold, it came on today. If I don't feel well tomorrow morning, I might just have to call in sick...

Yeah, several new deeds, just in CD alone... Exploration... troll-killing... another killing one. I'm more than willing to bet that's not even the tip of the iceburg...
