Have details been released about Moria?
How iminent is the release? It's not in open beta so it can't be that soon?
Are the new classes going to have to start at level 1 in the existing zones? Do you need a max level character to 'unlock' the new classes?
I 'think' I would like to play runekeeper as a main adventurer. But Zibgar is my main roleplay character. Not that I can't evolve him from a quiet hobbit farmer into a disturber of the peace and reluctant adventurer. But I am curious about how far to expect to get with any character before Moria.

There's no release date yet, but considering that they've said (I think) 2008 and we're coming up on A: the holiday season and B: PAX (Penny Arcade Expo - in Seattle this weekend) I'd be willing to bet they're going to do a "release-date announcement" this weekend at PAX. Of course, I could be wrong, but the timing seems logical in my mind.

More goodness: www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=218583&page=1I do wish someone would elaborate on the crafting changes, darn it. Oh, and one little quote I heartily agree with: "The item advancement system that gives Legendary items their own progression paths - with experience, attributes, customisation options and even specific quests - is an appallingly detailed and ruthlessly clever new obsession for LOTRO players." Shiny new daggers ... that can be made shinier. Ooooooh.

There's been no formal announcement, but... IGN's Mines of Moria game detail has "November 3" on it.

Here's an interesting interview with the guy who's heading up LotRO/MoM. Doesn't really cover MoM much at all (though there's several screenshots, a few I hadn't seen before). It's still interesting (to me, at least.)

Okay... There's still been no official word that I've heard, but... GameStop and AmazonBOTH list it as November 18... and Amazon is apparently taking pre-orders.

Ya sorry I mentioned in guild chat a few weeks ago about game stop pre-orders being up and that thay said mid november for a release. I should have posted it. The only thing is I was not able to pre-order the special edition yet. She said she would put a note on the account for me that I wanted it but I need to be vigilant and call ALOT to make sure I get the special edition.

It looks like Amazon will take pre-orders for the SE now. I pre-ordered SWG:JTL through Amazon and had it show up in my mailbox on the launch day, so I wouldn't feel too hesitant to do the same with Moria. Then again, GameStop is pretty close to my house... Ahem.

So, there's going to be an experience bonus from the 2nd till the 6th. Seriously? Is this needed?

Could be a good Turkey Weekend! My wife will be visiting her family and I'll be left to ski and video game!! If work doesn't call and work is usually quiet Thanksgiving weekend, given the economy it would be shocking if lots of people came out here for Thanksgiving ski vacations...

Grr. They offer a digital download version for $10 less than retail and don't allow Texas or Washington to buy it! Guess I'll be pre-ordering it from Best Buy or Amazon, but man, that annoys me.
