Just been notified that my NDA on beta testing Mines of Moria has been lifted... so... got any questions?

I've been staying away from actually doing the quests and such. Because I want it to be fresh when I play it with live and such. I've been mostly turning in bug reports with updated champion skills/etc... and running around the world falling through holes and such (ask folks how much I like to explore.... ...hey... where does this alley goooo? ?? argh...i'm dead) It's beautiful. Moria is huge and I spend half my time lost. Legendary gear is soooo cool. You'll get your first from volume 2, book 1. I haven't really levelled onyxblade up that much in game (ok..at all..though he's ALMOST level 51) but with the legendary weapon and traits and legacy's he's probably doubled his DPS. They stopped the character copying before all of my characters got transferred over, so I wasn't able to get too much into the new crafting, but there is a 6th tier (supreme) and you'll be able to pick a craft guild for some decent goodies (one per character, so weaponsmiths will have to choose between weaponsmithing guild or woodworking guild.

Are there new raids released? New 12 man raid/instances? Tried any new fellowship instances?
How does the size of terrain to be released compare to the existing space?

Well...now that the NDA is gone I can say that my lack of time around here these last months is due to a lot of time there.
There is a new Raid.....The Vile Maw. I haven't done it BUT it is designed to make the Rift look like a trip to Esteldin. It has been toned down quite a bit since the first dozen wipes. Its designed for 60s BTW. It has been beaten but .....new damage type: Acid! And the Boss has it in spades. Healing is very very very important in this place.
There is a revised Combat System as well. It is going to take a little getting used to as it was made to make players more squishy. BPE and Mits took a big hit but not just for the good guys. All mobs have been redone with the new values. Net result is, we'll have to pay more attention to what we are doing in a fight. Big pulls are generally bad as you can be overwhelmed by numbers. In short, you'll get hit more....you'll get hit harder BUT you'll be hitting them a lot more and a lot harder too.
Somewhere I have some screenies....I'll see what I can find. Moria is VAST and the imagery is ....Awesome.
PvMP is going to be rough for a while....in fact the Moors might be a tad light in the Freep department until people hit 60 because the Creeps will auto-level to 60 on the 18th.
Class wise I've focused on LM, Hunter, Rune Keeper and Warden. There is good and bad to be had with them all. Feel free to send questions on them as well. I will say that I leveled Iorean to 53 (from 46) pretty fast and she was a killing MACHINE.

1. What will we need to do in order to make Guardians useful again, since block and parry took a big hit?
2. How much more time will we need to spend making cash for repairs, since we'll be getting hit more *and* harder?

The one thing I absolutely have to know... are there more outfits and hairstyles?

There will be a plethora of new armors that can be worn cosmetically but I don't recall a lot of new outfits. I do believe there are a few new hairstyles per Race and some changes to old ones

1. What level do you need to be to survive in Moria?
2. Did they by any chanceadd quest location indicators to our maps?

1. What level do you need to be to survive in Moria? 2. Did they by any chance add quest location indicators to our maps? 1. You can do fine in Moria at 50. You'll be 51 minutes after getting into Moria if you just ignore Eregion but there is a tonne to do out there and I went into Moria the first time with Asca at 52. 2. If you mean little pointers to show which way to go, then no...they didn't. You do get a little tracking ring when you get close enough though.
