These 3-man instances being the last quest lines that I (and surely others) need to complete in Eregion, I hope we can get together and schedule some runs and avoid having to join random PUGs to finish them. I attempted the Library instance the other day with some others and was able to finish some of the quests, but hit a wall at the second orc boss. Based on what I experienced that day, it's probably best not to try and attempt these quests until at least level 54. Though I'm sure they're not impossible to finish at lower levels, it seems the benefits will outweigh the drawbacks (ie. dying...a lot) with a few more levels under the belt. Oh, and bring milkthistle pots....lots and lots of them. I hope we can probably get something together for those interested over the next couple of weeks once people start getting higher up in level. Comments welcome.

I'd sure like to join you, but Thel's not caught up yet. If I'm lucky and it's a nice quiet weekend, I might have some extra play time to complete more in Eregion.

Oooh! Me! Me! I'd like to! If we can get 5 or 6 I'm sure we can do it at lower levels. Or can only 3 go in at a time? Hunters can cure poison, so if you bring Missa along, she'll do her best to fix that stuff. She'll be 52 shortly and I don't think 54 by the weekend is out of the question. Ony said Missa will be first to 60 and I'm going to do my darndest to prove him right! That, in spite of the fact that I missed several good playing days (Thursday to Sunday).

The library is another one of those grueling 3-man instances, so I'm sure the School is as well. The problem with poison in there is that it happens so frequently. I was seeing double stacks of poisons on me many times, and 80% of my deaths in there occured after the battle was over. I also have remove poison, but you can be sure that as soon as you remove it you'll get another dose before the cooldown wears off. Tricky business...gonna take a healer to do these effectively anytime soon, methinks.

I'm in Mirobel now, and I've picked up most, if not all, of those quests for the school and Library. So count me in!

Had a successful library run tonight with me Onyx and Brunli knocking the stuffing out of those orcs. School is now in session.

Onyxblade, Ascahilion and Missa took down the School yesterday. It's not difficult, exactly, but the last 2 bosses hit REALLY hard! We had several deaths. Apparently the last book is bugged and won't be available till after the patch. Hopefully we won't lose the credit for what we did before. Personally, I'm not looking forward to completing it again for myself. If it's to help others, GREAT! But I don't want to do it over just to re-get what they take away. Make any sense? (That'll just piss me off!)
And doing the first floor is great fun! Some nice drops there. You can pretty much do that over and over and over without much difficulty. Worth doing that!

Thelonius, Ascahilion, and I made successful visits to both the school and the library Saturday night, which was a great deal of fun. What impresses me about these instances is that you can apparently go in with any class combination as long as everyone knows their skills. In our case, with a captain, a loremaster, and a burglar, there were no main tank, dps, or healing classes, and yet we managed pretty well.
I'll be happy to do those instances again, so just let me know if you need them (or just want to go do them again for fun.)

Yeah... I've learned a couple of helpful strategies while doing them. Did the library with a captain, hunter, champ and then again with a champ, burglar, champ.
Did the school with a lore-master, hunter, champ.
I really do think that just about any class combination will be able to do them once you've learned the "secret strategy" for that class combination.
For example: when you do the library with a champ, the champ needs to stun hte pale folk with the champion's horn and then kill the pale-folk ASAP. When I learned this and was able to apply it, death by poison was eliminated. The problem arises in that the big guy that has the pale folk, can't be hurt until the pale folk are all dead, which means that the champ will have no aggro on the big guy. So, you need to also use rising ire on whomever he's got targetted while your killing the little folks, since it's usually the healer class. The time I did it with a burglar, he was able to mez the big guy, while we burned through the pale-folk and then break mez and kill the big guy. When I did it with the hunter/captain, I hadn't come up with the stun the pale folk strategy.
For the school, the second boss at the top of the stairs is the hardest fight. Did that one with Champ, Loremaster, Hunter so very few heals. And he's unmezzable... And he hits tremendously hard. My suggestion is to save all your cooldowns for him. Or be ready to sprint back to the battle from the rez area... I did it twice in one battle with him...
So...I will definately be doing these again... just put the call out and I'll be there. They're great fun, even with the gold in repairs I had from my first school run.
