heh. Okay, I probably have to admit that I was under the influence of two Guinness when I typed the post above. The truth remains though that I'm really enjoying this kinship and the folks in it and I appreciate you all letting me be a part. ;D

It will take a whole lot more than that stump speech to sway my vote. We are talking pies here! Many guilds claim to be casual, close knit, fun and helpful. However I believe that Pillagers is one of the few that actually delivers.

I saw this post from Kat last night and I decided to think on it overnight. I've been a Pillager since July 10, 2007 and I can honestly say.... I LOVE this Kinship. I think we have a truly unique group of people here, and I'm proud to be a part of the close-knit community that we've created. I love ninja-inspecting Kinnies to make sure that they're equipped (there was a period of time when Onyxblade and I actually tried to see who could ninja inspect the fastest. ) with the best gear for their level, and to check for the latest trends from Delaney Originals (tm). I enjoy spending hours roaming around Middle-earth, hitting every single darned ore node that pops in front of me, because I know it will come in handy when So-and-so hits level whatever and needs that new armor, or that new blade to help win the fights. We have such a colorful group, from all walks of life, and I see that we all have such a great tolerance and understanding for each others' circumstances. Afk with kids and pets? Not a problem! We have so many people with families in this Kin that I think it really sets us apart and helps give us that truly casual feel. Again, I've gone on a'rambling here, but I just wanted to throw my 2 coppers in here. I think you guys are the best d**n bunch of people I've had the pleasure of meeting up with online, and I'm proud to wear the title of Verewen, Kinswoman. *swordsalute*

You know, I was just looking at Zabrak's avatar again and I thought it would be neat to do for myself......but holy crap it would look just like the Brady Bunch and be too small to see. haha

I will happily add my two cents in and say that while I think LotRO is a great game, and Turbine does a very good job overall, it's been the people, by far, that have made this such an enjoyable pastime. I'm proud to be a Pillager, I'm thankful that we're lucky enough to continue to find amazing people, and I'm lucky to know you all.

The kin is great, no doubt about it.
Full of personality, quirkiness, and helpfulness (to the point where it comes out of everyone's ears -- true story....). Whether I'm on for 5 minutes or two hours, I'm always reminded how glad I am for being invited to join by the warm welcomes when I arrive.
