Hello, my name is Tierawyn, and I would like to introduce myself.
I grew up in Rohan, in a family neither rich nor poor - not royalty, but we never lacked...
From the earliest time I can remember, I had an insatiable desire to learn. From books, from my parents, or from anyone who wanted to talk of the old days and lore that has been largely forgotten. I am a very curios person, so I needed to know more. I started to wander further and further away from home, in search of some lost knowledge and ways to put this knowledge to work.
Since I took so much knowledge in, I looked to some like I had special "magic" powers, with my ability to quickly light an object and throw it (with considerable force) at an unsuspecting target. I am not a scholar, however, and you will most likely find me roaming the woods before you see me studying in a library. My journey's have taught me much about harvesting the resources of Middle-earth, and I easily make a living off of selling timber and ore to local craftsmen (when I'm not exploring).
I was not happy with the way others looked at me back at home. Most thought I should settle down and learn "to be content" with a normal life for those of my stock. But I knew I had ability; I knew I had a desire to be out looking for new adventures. My best childhood friend, Lily (surname is not important), didn't share my desire for adventures but I continually drug her along anyway. I thought it'd be good for her and to some degree it was to make me feel better about my desire to adventure. One day I made a fatal mistake that would change my life forever.
I convinced Lily to take a journey that would last for a few weeks. We went as far north as the Misty Mountains, probably not too far from the fabled Moria. While I was busy cooking a quick meal at a makeshift camp...they...came...and took Lily. Orcs - 4 of them - made off with her before I could react. I was responsible for Lily - she didn't belong adventuring like that and I made her come with me. It was horrible, the next few day...weeks...years, I lost track of life.
I wandered even further north and west looking for purpose and trying to forget about Lily. Somehow after years of wandering I ended up in prison, in Archet, northwest of Bree. How I got there is unimportant for at that time Archet was under attack and I was called on to help.
Finally I had a purpose to live; somebody needed my abilities. I finally had a chance to prove that I was good at my core though I had made a large mistake with Lily. And more, since Orcs were on the wrong side of this fight, I could get revenge for what happened. With a refined target for my abilities, I grow stronger everyday.
I'm still not a sturdy warrior, but I can hold my own in any battle. I have survived some of the most dire circumstances - outnumbered and with very light-weight armor - by cunning and knowledge.
These days you may find me roaming Eriador helping fight the good fight. You will often find me alone, or with Ilisdor, a man I met in Bree shortly after the attack on Archet. We make a great pair and together we have taken on some of the enemy's elite - which is good because we have been know to take on more than we can
handle!! We have saved each other from peril on more occasions than I care to count. I also have several pets: Frederick, Shade, Whiskers, and Caw (for whom I'm looking for a better name) and they accompany me on my travels for safety and companionship.
As the days grow darker I hear of more and more trouble back in my home land and I long to go defend her. But I've also learned that the threat there is beyond my abilities at this time. There is much to learn! I've realized the need to join others in this fight - which is beyond proving something to myself and others...and even beyond my revenge. I am now a recruit for the Pillagers of Pipeweed, a merry band of folks that came highly recommended among those in the know in Middle Earth. I hope to become a great part of there efforts against the forces of Mordor (even if that does include stealing a bit of pipeweed here and there)!

I am a 26yr old male who works in IT and I'm really beginning to enjoy Tolkien's works. I'm finally reading through the books and enjoying every moment of it! I've played Asheron's Call, EVE, Horizons, and several others but not for very long. This MMO is the first I've done any RP and I really do enjoy it (despite my lack of ability). When I am not RP'ing I try to be respectful to those who are.
I come to this kin on the recommendation and reputation of Katarnus and Delaney - they represent the kin VERY well!! I originally met them on the daily Landroval Coffee thread (of which I am a VERY frequent contributor under the forum name oldbustedjorn).
I also apologize for the length of the RP bio... I hope it wasn't out of place I'm also still learning the lore so if you see something majorly out of place please let me know!
