Known as the Notorious Kirona around her native home of Brockenborings near the Bindpole Woods, Kirona's well-known mischievous streak is often blamed on a not so distant Took relation. Though she is a kindly sort of hobbit, prone to stories and tales and tunes of a whimsical nature, she is also quite fond of clever tricks and sneaks. The results of one such recent trick (involving a herb known to induce itching and a pack of trained crickets) have sent her beyond her hometown, perhaps even beyond the Shire itself, to discover what lies beyond (and avoid a certain hobbit with a furious rash, at least until it heals over... again). --------------------------- Most of ya'll know me as Garaf (or Bregaur) and amongst the Landroval community I'm also known as Esslar, curator of the Library of the Randirim and Pellinor, Official Brewery-Mechanic at the Tavern of the Leaf & Bean. For quite some time I've had the pleasure and privilege of knowing some excellent Pillagers so when taken by a recent fancy towards Minstrelism I noticed a grand opportunity to do more than just illegitimately haunt your vent server. =P I'm an ol' techie residing (currently) somewhere in the Pacific Northwest who spends entirely too much time in LotRO. I'm also a bit of a lore-hound (specializing on elves and the events of the First Age) but I keep my baying to a minimum, honest! =)

Hi Garaf! I just joined the Pillagers as well If you get a chance and feel like it...maybe you could check out my IC bio for Tierawyn (posted in this forum). I really want to turn it into a full blown bio to deepen the background of my character. I'm also worried that I'm going to break the lore too much.

Hi Kirona, while we would normally welcome you with open arms, I am sorry to say that we have already exceded our Kin's quota of Tooks. I am sorry, but rules are rules. That is just how it is.
Ooc- Welcome, really! We have chatted on vent once or twice. And it is good to see you bring a character to the pillagers. Don't mind my hobbits. The Zoots have a feud with the Tooks. They are in contention for being the family with the least common sense in the Shire.
P.S. I view the feud as more of a contest. I would not want to roleplay hating another player's character, especially one in the kinship.

The Pillagers sure seem to be the happenin' place. Why, I bet we'll put TU out of business as the kin with the most crew in it! =P I'll try 'n swing around to give that bio a gander but first I should probably do something about the growing pile of derelict hardware on my desk here. I'm not really sure if Kirona qualifies as a Took or not yet, but either way prank wars are fun =P The way I tend to develop characters her background and such will fill in as she goes along. It's fun to have them grow that way. And thanks again to Del for spinnin' me off to the perfect name. XD Oop! Back to work!

Just gandered it 'n for a light-medium RP fare it seems spot on. I'm assuming from the context your char is a Lore-master from Rohan. And poor Lily. The fate of orcish prisoners are generally pretty abrupt (at least, if they're lucky) but never pleasant as a rule. Should be neat to see how it develops from here =)

Interestingly I realized that I am now excited about developing back-stories for my other chars!!!

Yeah, I started out firmly in the light-rp sector and eventually developed into a fully heavy RP player. Since then I've relaxed a bit, and it seems to vary depending on my chars. With Garaf/Bregaur I'm still a rather Heavy RPer, Esslar's fairly medium and with Pell (and probably Kirona) I'd say it's probably light-rp. It's all just what suits your fancy I reckon. =)
