This really depends on what you like to do when you play online games. If you are impressed by seeing big damage numbers then obviously guardian, burglar and warden are out. If you don't like watching health bars - captain, rune keeper and minstrel are out.
If you like understanding the game mechanics and group dynamics, I'd say guardian, minstrel, lore master, burglar and champion/hunter are good bets.
If you enjoy tanking, why not make guardian, champion, warden and captain to see how they all tank differently.
If, like me, you enjoy support classes, then you character sheet will have minstrel, rune keeper, burglar, lore master and captain.
I am still trying to figure out what to drop so I can create a captain. But then again, I'd have to play without sound because the man shouts drive me batty.
Maybe the "right" answer is get two accounts.

What I've found at least (though I'm far from an expert lol), is that while I can keep mobs at bay, archers and mobs that reach me hit HARD. It's not just the light armor, it's the low might, and the fact that some of our important skills actually cost morale so that lowers the already low total... I'm not saying it's the squishiest, but definitely need to watch the health bar

I'm really surprised that no one voted for RK as a must do class. Is this because se don't have any RK except Charx? Why is this so?

I like my runekeeper a lot. Enyra preferred hers over her hunter.
But up until recently, it could not perform it's dps role as intended due to issues with fire abilities. Then throw in the standard mmo dilema of low population of healers. So even if you can dps well, most people will expect you to heal them.
I think these add up to an unpopular class.

From what I hear, more dps than hunter, more healing than minstrel. Soon to be all over the place.
